Got tools you want to see well loved?

Our hand-tool school and courses are a hit, and they wouldn’t be as successful as they have been without the generous donations of hand tools we’ve been given.

We don’t want to take any tools you’re using out of your hands, but if you’ve got some hand tools lying around that you don’t or won’t use any longer, we would love to restore them, sharpen them up, and put them in the hands of our students.

We accept:

• All hand tools in moderate to good condition

  • Tools in good condition mean we can put them into use immediately

  • Moderate condition means they’ve seen better days but all or most of the parts are still in place and any moving parts are still able to move, at least a little bit

• Hand tool bits, including:

  • Blades

  • Parts

  • Boxes and instruction manuals

  • Catalogues

• Handheld power tools with approval

• Workshop machinery with approval

  • If you have any power tools you’re looking to donate, get in touch with us first and we’ll let you know if we’re able to accept them

We DO NOT accept:

• Tools that are missing larger parts or blades

  • Unfortunately we just don’t have the time to do large-scale repair and replacement of parts on tools

• Power tools or machinery without prior discussion

• Tools that have been repainted with lead paint
